Sign Language
Learn the fundamentals of communicating in Sign Language. This program is Ministry of Education Approved and recognized.
After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Introduce self and interact in Deaf culturally appropriate ways
- Discuss aspects of and perspectives on Deaf Culture
- Ask and answer questions
- Use basic grammar structure, including rhetorical questions and topic/comment, directional verbs and the appropriate use of finger spelling
- Incorporate number structures such as cardinal and special information into basic conversation
- Demonstrate appropriate use of facial expression and non-manual makers
- Engage in conversation about a variety of basic topics including introductions, personal schedules, activities, classroom environments, etc.
Who should attend?
Friends and family of the deaf, persons wanting to pursue a career in special education, persons wanting to become a certified interpreter or anyone that just wants to learn Sign Language.
Course Duration: 90 Hours
Conversational Spanish Level 1
Delivered by a trained linguist and using some of the latest and most proven methods for language learning, this program provides the student with a small comfortable corporate classroom environment within which to learn to speak the Spanish language.
Who should attend?
Anyone that seriously wants to learn to speak Spanish for business or personal development.
